The Most Perfect Protein Peanut Butter Cups

Ingredients

Chocolate
Forms the rich outer shell and gives the cups that classic chocolatey snap.

Coconut Oil
Helps the chocolate melt smoothly and creates a glossy, easy-to-bite coating once set.

Peanut Butter Powder
Provides bold peanut butter flavor with less oil, keeping the filling light and protein-friendly.

Vanilla Protein Powder
Boosts the protein content while adding subtle sweetness and structure to the filling.

Maple Syrup
Naturally sweetens the filling and helps bind the ingredients together.

Water
Used as needed to bring the mixture together into a smooth, workable filling.

Instructions

Melt the coconut oil and chocolate together

Pour a tbsp of chocolate coating into each muffin cup 

Mix the peanut butter, protein powder, and maple syrup together 

Add one tbsp of water at a time and stir well until it’s combined and pulls off the sides of the bowl 

Form the peanut butter dough into thin round patties and place on top of the poured chocolate coating 

Pour another tbsp of chocolate coating on top of the peanut butter patties 

Place the protein cups in the refrigerator for 20 minutes to harden

  • 4 oz chocolate
  • 3 tbsp coconut oil

Peanut butter interior

  • 3/4 cup peanut butter powder
  • 1/2 cup vanilla protein powder
  • 1/4 cup maple syrup
  • Water – as much as is needed to hold the mixture together

Instructions
 

  • Melt the coconut oil and chocolate together
  • Pour a tbsp of chocolate coating into each muffin cup
  • Mix the peanut butter, protein powder, and maple syrup together
  • Add one tbsp of water at a time and stir well until it’s combined and pulls off the sides of the bowl
  • Form the peanut butter dough into thin round patties and place on top of the poured chocolate coating
  • Pour another tbsp of chocolate coating on top of the peanut butter patties
  • Place the protein cups in the refrigerator for 20 minutes to harden
