Kitchen Upgrades

Handles– when we first started there weren’t any handles on the cupboards and there needed to be, so we installed these

Faucet– the faucet that was there wasn’t great, so we upgraded to this one

Paper towel dispenser– we got this dispenser and put it under the sink

Toaster– we got the most basic toaster

Trash can– some sort of trash can is necessary, in an attempt to make our guests experience excellent, we got a trash can with an automatic lid

For Eating

Dishes– this set comes with mugs

Utensils– this set is amazon’s, but I actually really like Walmart’s utensil sets

Cups– these are nice glasses

Wine glasses– I love that they’re stemless, I feel like they are less likely to spill

Basic Cooking

Cooking Utensil Set– This set has pretty much every utensil you can think of

Pots & Pans– this set is affordable and looks nice

Baking sheets– I’ve used this brand for a long time and I love them

Baking dishes– we got these for baking things like brownies!

Rubbermaid Storage containers– this set has pretty much everything you could need

Mixing bowls– this set is simple and effective

Knife Set– this is the original set we got, but since have changed to ones that are dish washer safe as we had issues with guests washing the knifes and they started rusting

Miscellaneous Kitchen Tools

Measuring cups– this set matched our color scheme and seems great

Measuring spoons– this is the spoons to match the cups we got, they still seem to be great

Colander– for straining things

Wine bottle opener– this is just one of those things that are easily accessible and needed when they are needed

Grater– for cheese or veggies a greater is good to have

Vegetable peeler– while this may be considered extra, when you want a vegetable peeler you need one

Can opener– like a vegetable peeler, a can opener is necessary

Kitchen Shears– I use kitchen shears all the time, how else would I open up bags of any food

Large cutting board– just a large black cutting board

Small cutting board– just a small black cutting board

The Details

Olive oil dispenser– so our guests can easily cook

Salt & pepper– we also include about 8 basic spices for our guests

Hot pads– these are in the drawer next to the oven so no one burns their hands on dinner

Dish brush– my husband loves this, but I do not. None the less this is what we purchased

Jonah Tooth pick dispenser– this dispenser is too cute, it is a conversation starter

Hand towels– these are what we hang on the oven so our guests can dry their hands

Cleaning towels– we place these under the kitchen sink for our guests to clean

Ice cube tray– my husband is really into this ice cube tray system, I’m not a huge fan

Greenery– we bought this green plant and it lives on top of the fridge

Soap dispenser– we got an automatic soap dispenser, it’s great most of the time

Organization

Pots & Pan organizer– so our pots and pans have more life we don’t like to stack them and instead prefer to have them on a nice looking stand

Utensil organizer– we don’t like to throw utensils in a drawer, so we have them nicely organized

Pan organizer– This is for our baking dishes and pans so they are accessible and not stacked

Foil & Plastic wrap organizer– this is nice to have as it makes the drawer look nice and the boxes don’t walk off
