Everything We Bought For Our New Airbnb Twin Room

My husband and I decided to start up an Airbnb this summer. It was something we had discussed for a while, but finally got around to doing. Having both grown up with rentals and having several jobs in the hospitality industry it was an easy decision for us. If you haven’t seen my previous post on what we bought for our king bedroom, check it out here.

I make no money from these links, these are just the products I purchased. All opinions on this blog are my own.

Getting Everything Ready

Before we bought anything we had to clean, patch up a wall hole, and add an accent wall. Here’s what the room looked like before anything was added.

Here’s what our twin room looks like after everything (except the art) was added.

Furniture

Rug– I love this rug. its color, and its geometric pattern, which is why I got it for both bedrooms.

Bedframe I enjoy the fabric upholstered bed frames.

Mattress– I love the mattresses that come in a box. I find them so comfortable.

Ottoman– This is to hold extra blankets and double as a luggage rack. I don’t know if I would buy it again because its a bit on the green side of gray.

Nightstands– We went through 4 different nightstands before we landed on these.

Mirror– These full length mirrors look great and allow you to take a look at everything.

Bedding

Mattress encasement– To protect your mattress, a mattress encasement makes sure that everything stays off of the actual mattress.

Mattress pad– On top of the mattress encasement we put a mattress pad that is waterproof incase of any accidents or spills.

Sheets– These are the brand of sheets we have on our bed and we love how soft they are.

Soft pillow– These are the soft pillows we bought.

Firm pillow– These firm pillows aren’t as firm as I like my pillow, but they are defiantly more firm than the soft ones.

Pillow protector– To protect our pillows we have pillow protectors on each pillow.

Pillow case– These are the patterned pillow cases, they are the same brand as the sheets. The white pillow cases came with the sheet set.

Blanket– These blankets are not the original ones we bought, but they are lightweight, soft and overall a great choice for a blanket.

Comforter– These comforters are decent, they add some texture to the bed.

Throw pillows– These are the lumbar support pillows we got to finish off our beds.

Throw pillow cover– I love the simple velvet feel of these.

Finishing Touches

Painting– We went through about 4 paintings before we found this one.

Fake snake plant-for some green we got this.

Fan– To keep our guest’s cool, we got a basic fan.

Heater– For the winter, we got a basic heater.

Hangers– These are just basic black hangers.

Lamps– We love these nightstand lamps and their charging capabilities.

Alarm clock– This alarm clock can charge a phone and wake you up.
