Ingredients
What makes these cookies different is the unique tri-dough that uses strawberry Nesquik. Other ingredients include, butter, sugar, brown sugar, eggs, vanilla, cornstarch, baking soda, cream of tartar, flour, and cocoa powder.
Butter– Softened butter (not melted) makes the cookies slightly more chewy
Sugar– More white sugar helps the cookie be more crispy
Brown sugar– Less brown sugar makes the cookie a little less chewy
Eggs– A binding agent for most cookies is eggs
Vanilla– Without vanilla there is a slight lack of flavor specifically in the vanilla part of the cookie
Cornstarch– The cornstarch helps make the cookies light and fluffy
Baking soda– Baking soda is the leavening agent for these cookies
Cream of tartar– An additional leavening agent for these cookies is cream of tartar
Flour- Flour is a basic binding agent for most cookies
Strawberry nesquik– Strawberry nesquik is the secret to the strawberry flavor and pink color in the strawberry part of these cookies
Cocoa powder– Cocoa powder will give the chocolate part of the cookie its flavor

Tips
- Don’t scoop your flour, instead spoon it into the measuring cup, or shake it in.
- Don’t over mix your cookies
- For more strawberry flavor you can add more strawberry Nesquik
- For a deeper chocolate flavor you can add 1 tsp instant coffee powder
- Use a cookie scoop to make sure all of your cookies are the same size.
- I love to make my cookie dough, roll it into balls, and then freeze it in a plastic bag to eat later.
- You can freeze the dough for 10 minutes to make sure that the cookies won’t spread.
- Use parchment paper or a silicone baking mat to keep your cookies from sticking to the pan.
- Use an oven thermometer to ensure your oven is actually at the temperature it says it is.
- If your oven has hot spots, make sure you turn your pan halfway through the bake.
- Remove cookies earlier rather than later to keep them from overcooking.
- Store cookies in an airtight container for up to one week.
