If you’re looking for great cooking products to help you cook in the kitchen this is the place to be. I don’t like to have lots of extra one use cooking appliances. These cooking tools will help make your life easier! I also have a short list of cooking tools that aren’t worth the space in your kitchen.

Cosori tea kettle
If you are a tea person or a coffee person this tea kettle is for you. It will make sure your water is at the perfect temperature. It also makes sure to hold that temperature until you need it.
Toshiba rice cooker
This rice cooker claims to cook low carb rice. I don’t know how accurate of a statement that is, but the rice is tasty and cleaning is easy. It isn’t the quickest rice cooker, but it is a great one that does a great job. It can also cook other grains, but I haven’t experimented with any.
Ninja toaster oven
I love my toaster oven. It’s amazing at toasting things and reheating frozen items. Your chicken nuggets will be amazing. You won’t even think about reheating pizza in a microwave after trying it in a toaster oven. This one can be flipped up to have more counter space. We literally use this every single day.
Instant pot
Quick beans, grains, and dinners can happen with an instant pot. They aren’t for everyone but they are multipurpose.
Box mandolin
Mandolin’s can be dangerous if you aren’t careful, but a box one tends to be a bit safer in my opinion. I use mine all the time. Mine comes with a grater so it’s quite multipurpose.
Danish whisk
If you have never used a Danish whisk to mix bread then you don’t know how amazing it is. Mixing bread becomes so quick. The whisk makes the dough come together incredibly quickly. I talk about this item a lot, but it’s really because I love it so much.
Meat masher
This item is affordable and replaces my potato masher. I use this when cooking ground meat, or mashing potatoes, sweet potatoes or other mashed items. It isn’t necessary, but it really simplifies cooking ground meat.
Analon bread knife
This bread knife cuts your bread so well. I highly recommend getting this specific one. I used one at a friend’s house and then I was converted, this is the bread knife for me. We make bread a lot, so a bread knife is used frequently.
Anova sous vide
We originally had a joule but it stopped working within a few years (probably due to hard water). We bought an Anova from Costco because we needed to cook something the next day or two and couldn’t wait for Amazon to ship to us. It’s been great, but it is quite large compared to the joule.
Sous vide box
If you have a sous vide it’s hard to not have a large container to cook your food in. This box is large but it’s great for cooking lots of food sous vide!
Items that are not worth it
Kitchen Aid
I got my kitchen aid for free. I only use it to make frosting and meringue. If you don’t make lots of frosting or meringue, a kitchen aid probably isn’t worth it for you. You can use it for dough, and other general mixing, but the hassle of getting it out and set up and cleaned isn’t worth it for me. It’s much easier to mix most items by hand. I still keep it because it is nice to use for frosting and so I use it more than 4 times a year, but if I were to buy one brand new, I wouldn’t.
Pizza cutter
We don’t have a pizza cutter, we use a knife instead. We don’t eat pizza enough to need one (and we eat pizza at least once every 2 weeks). I know they can be used for cutting other things, but again, we just use a knife.
Waffle iron
Unless you make waffles at least once a week, a waffle iron is not necessary. Along these lines goes egg bite makers, donut makers, and panini press’.
Pasta scoop
Unless you make a ridiculous amount of pasta, having a pasta scoop in your kitchen is not beneficial, they take up space and are rarely used.
Potato slicer
A potato slicer can be nice, but if you don’t want your kitchen filled with single use items, then this is not a great item to get.
