Nursing is hard, but its necessary to feed the baby even when your out and about. You can’t always carry a nursing pillow around with you, so its a good idea to get comfortable with nursing without one while your out and about.

Find a quiet space
As your baby gets bigger and more aware of the world, it can be difficult to keep them latched on if it’s too loud or distracting. Find somewhere where they can focus on drinking.
Skip the cover
Your baby will be easier to see and latching them on only shows your nipple for a moment. It’s easier to see what’s going on and everything when you don’t have a cover.
Nursing bras
I can’t imagine what it would be like to try to nurse without nursing bras. All you have to do is unclip a clasp, or pull over the top and you have easy access. Get at least 2 and use them every day all day for easy access.
Get some nursing clothes
Babies nurse for about a year or more so for the next year you should get nursing shirts, dress’s, and maybe even a sweatshirt. Especially if you plan on having more than one kid, nursing clothes can be a life saver.
Layers
Wear multiple layers so you feel comfortable. Keep a tank top down over your stomach and put a loose shirt over the top so you can lift it and pop your baby on to nurse.
Try using your knees as a prop
If you are used to using a nursing pillow it can be difficult to nurse when you don’t have it around with you, instead try to sit on the ground or on a large couch where you can set your feet up and have your knees support your baby. Alternatively you can prop your leg up on your other leg half crisscross applesauce style and use that leg as the support leg
It gets easier!- when baby gets more neck control and back muscles nursing becomes easier. Also as you get more accustomed to it it’s a lot easier too.
