Pie Crust

Prep Time 10 minutes
Cook Time 15 minutes
Total Time 25 minutes

Ingredients
  

  • 2/3 cup shortening
  • 6 tbsp butter cold & cubed
  • 2 cups flour
  • 1/2 cup ice cold water

Instructions
 

  • Cut the shortening and butter into the flour it should be crumbly with no more large pieces of fat
  • Slowly add the cold water mixing it all together
  • Separate the dough into 2 half’s
  • Roll out each half of the dough onto a well floured surface
  • Gently lift the crust and put it into a pie pan
  • Pinch the top of the crust to form a pattern
  • Blind bake at 375 for 15 minutes
