Quick and Easy French Toast Casserole

This French toast casserole will quickly become a family favorite. It takes way less time to make French toast as a casserole than it does to turn over each piece of bread in a pan or on a skillet. Your guests will be coming back for seconds and thirds!

Ingredients

Bread- any kind of bead will work. I tend to use just white bread, the crust can stay on, I cut it into squares, they don’t have to be perfectly even

Butter- salted or unsalted doesn’t matter, melt it completely

Brown sugar- light or dark will be great

Eggs- 6 whole eggs as the binding agent, what is French toast without eggs?

Milk- the kind of milk doesn’t matter, any will do

Vanilla- for flavor

Spices- cinnamon, nutmeg, and cardamom will flavor this French toast casserole to perfection

Topping- the topping is made up of brown sugar and cinnamon
