If you are buying breakfast sausage, you don’t have to! Instead you can buy normal ground meat and add in your own seasoning mix to get the same effect. Many times “breakfast sausage” is much more expensive than ground meat. Use this breakfast seasoning to make your ground meat into the perfect sausage.
I started making my own seasonings when I developed an intolerance for some common spices including garlic. Many sausages include garlic, so I started to make my own seasoning mix for my own sausage. I now no longer struggle with those spice intolerances, but I still make my own spice mixes to save money.
