Ingredients

Apples

Cranberries
Add a bright, tart contrast that balances the sweetness of the apples.

Flour
Thickens the filling so it sets nicely without becoming runny.

Lemon Zest (optional)
Adds a fresh citrus aroma and enhances the fruit flavors.

Lemon Juice
Brightens the filling and prevents the apples from browning.

Sugar
Sweetens the pie and balances the tartness of the cranberries.

Cinnamon
Adds warm, classic spice that pairs perfectly with apples.

Nutmeg

You can make or buy a pie crust for this pie.

Instructions

Make your pie crust and place into a pie pan 

Pinch the edges 

Mix flour, spices, and sugar 

Layer your apples and cranberries on your pie crust 

Sprinkle the flour sugar mixture on each layer 

Drizzle lemon juice on the top layer 

Add your top crust 

If desired add an egg wash and sugar on top 

Bake at 375 for 25-35 minutes
