The DIY Nail Set We Made for Our Girls

My 2 older daughters went with me to get manicures while we were in Korea. I thought it would be a fun experience and it was inexpensive. My daughters loved it and it gave my husband and I a great idea for a Christmas gift- a nail set!

We thought it would be much cheaper to make a set for doing manicures than to go get them done, as it is quite expensive here. It would cost more than this whole set for both of my girls to get their nails done once in our home town. So it’s a great budget option.

DIY Nail set

Nail dryer- $9.35

Nail separators- $4.35

Nail bag- $8.33

Nail file- $7.89

Cuticle oil- $13.97

Top & base coat- $1.12

Nail clippers- $4.80

Nail polish- $8.32

Total: $58.13

After using it, I would say that the nail separators weren’t as helpful as I had hoped and in the future we plan to buy a higher quality nail dryer. But my girls are excited to have friends over to get their nails done. I plan to get some nail art pens when my girls get older.
