5 Important Things To Do At The End Of Pregnancy

I’m now in my last few weeks of pregnancy with my fourth baby. There’s still so many projects that my husband and I want to complete before our baby comes but here are a few things I like to do every time I’m near the end of my pregnancy. Here are 5 important things to do at the end of pregnancy.

Pedicure

I only get a pedicure a few times a year or less. But scheduling a pedicure near the end of a pregnancy is so helpful. It’s some great self pampering and feels so good for your exhausted feet that have been carrying more weight than usual.

Last date

I love going on one last date with my husband before my newest baby comes. It becomes a lot harder to go on dates for the first several months after a baby is born. So I schedule a baby sitter and go out to eat something tasty with my husband.

Freezer meals

It’s nice to have some quick easy meals to go to when you’re about to have a baby. Some great things to have ready are pulled pork, cooked chicken, and cooked ground beef. We also like to have lots of chopped onions in the freezer.

Shampoo rugs

I want the surfaces that my baby will be laying on to be clean so I make sure to shampoo the rugs so they have a great deep clean before baby comes.

Wash all the things

Make sure to wash breast pump parts and baby clothes. Also be sure to keep on top of washing your bedding. I wash my bedding about once a week and I like to keep up with this as my due date approaches.

Bonus- mini dates

If you have older kids, make a point of going on a date with each of them before the baby comes. Alternatively, you can go on a date with them after the baby comes, so they know that they are still a priority. If they’re old enough, you can have them help plan it, or surprise them with something they would love.
